Hello Crafters,

We have a pretty, girly birthday card for you today, created by Rebecca, using the brand-new Chic Boutique collection. Rebecca has combined stamping, colouring, die-cutting, and 3D work with spectacular results.

Read on for a full step-by-step project tutorial. The included materials list is linked so you can click on each product to be sent to its respective web page, making it easy to shop.

YOU WILL NEED:

INSTRUCTIONS:

1 Take an 8x8” card blank and fold the front in half to create a fold-back card. Cut a square from Rose Quartz pearl card to fit the back panel. Cut a smaller rectangle to fit over the fold-back panel. Edge both Rose Quartz panels with a chisel-tip glue pen, then cover in Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Affix to the card using dries-clear glue.

2 Trim a sheet of white card to slightly smaller than the Rose Quartz panels for the front and back panels. Edge with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter and affix both to the card. Cut a slightly smaller patterned paper panel for the front panel and one for the back. Edge with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter and affix to the card, as shown.

3 Die-cut two hearts from Rose Quartz pearl card and two smaller ones from white card. Edge both pink hearts and one white heart with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Affix the left side of one of the pink hearts to the card's front panel using foam pads.

4 Die cut ‘2’ and ‘5’ from Rose Quartz pearl card. Cover with a chisel-tip glue pen and then sprinkle Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter over. Affix to the centre of the heart using foam pads. Adhere the other pink heart to the card’s back panel using dries-clear glue. Stamp out the verse onto the white heart using Onyx Black ink and heat-emboss using Clear Gloss embossing powder. Edge with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Affix to the back panel of the card using foam pads.

5 Stamp out the girl image onto white cardstock using an Onyx Black inkpad and heat-emboss using Clear Gloss embossing powder. Die-cut using the coordinating die and colour in using alcohol markers. Glitter using Crystallina and Diamante Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter. Stamp out the balloons again, heat-emboss using Clear Gloss embossing powder, die-cut and colour in. Cover two balloons with Crystallina glitter and add Glossy Accents to the centre balloon. Decoupage onto the main image using foam pads, then affix to the card using a double layer of foam pads.

6 Take three sheets of Ombre vellum and emboss using the Flower Swirl embossing folder. Die-cut using the coordinating dies. Add dots of glue to the flowers and cover in Salsa Sparkelicious glitter. Shape the petals by curling them and glue together using dries-clear glue. Die-cut three small stamens and affix to the centre of the flowers. Add a sparkler to each, then affix to the card using 3D glue gel. Die-cut some foliage from white card. Add a few sequins and gems to the sprigs and tuck in behind the flowers using 3D glue gel.

7 Stamp out ‘time to celebrate’ onto white card using an Onyx Black inkpad and heat-emboss using Clear Gloss embossing powder. Trim and matt onto Rose Quartz pearl card. Edge with Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter and affix to the card using foam pads. To finish, add a few sequins and self-adhesive sparkles to the centre heart.
