Magic and Sparkle - Winter Wonderland Collection Card Tutorial

Hello Crafters,

Create some magic and sparkle with today's blog tutorial by the lovely Glynis! This gorgeous festive creation is one for all the bling lovers out there as Glynis has used lots of Sparkelicious glitter to ensure the trees are well and truly glistening. Along with the Sparkelicious glitters, Glynis has also used items from the recently-launched Winter Wonderland collection to work her magic with this beautiful Christmas card.

Read on for a full step-by-step project tutorial, complete with linked materials list.

YOU WILL NEED:

INSTRUCTIONS:

Trim down a sheet of patterned paper from the Winter Wonderland foiled paper pad. Go around the four sides using Sleigh Bells Sparkelicious glitter then matt and layer onto a Lagoon mirror card panel and attach to the base card.

2 Die-cut the two largest dies from the Snowflake Rectangle die set in white card and then go around the sides of both panels using Crystal Crush Sparkelicious glitter. Matt and layer together and then secure onto the base card with foam pads. Decorate the snowflakes with jewels from the Festive Fancies Bling Box.

3 Trim a sheet of white card to size then, using a cloud stencil (or make your own by drawing scallops on a piece of spare card and fussy cut out), blend the Tumbled Glass Oxide ink over the clouds. Keep moving the stencil about on the card and apply different pressure to the ink blender for light and dark shades. When completely dry, stamp and heat-emboss the Christmas trees border stamp using Copper Teal embossing powder and attach to the main card. Stamp and heat-emboss the Christmas trees again on a smaller piece of white card. Line the border die up on the trees and die cut. Attach this panel to the topper using foam pads. Glitter the trees with Sunset Boulevard Sparkelicious glitter and apply Snowball Sparkelicious glitter to the bottom of the trees. Decorate the background with the small waste stars.

4 Stamp and heat-emboss the sentiment using Metallic Gold embossing powder onto white card. Matt and layer onto Lagoon mirror card and adhere to the base card using foam pads. Decorate with Sparkling Silvers Self-Adhesive Sparkles to finish.
