Country Flower - Beautiful Butterflies Card Tutorial

YOU WILL NEED:

• Sparkelicious glitter – Crystallina, Lime Zing, and Zircon Sparkle
• Wow! embossing powder – Opaque Bright White and Clear Gloss 
• Chloe’s Creative Cards pearl card – Lagoon, Vista, and Crystal White
• Chloe’s Creative Cards pearl paper – Lagoon
• Chloe’s Creative Cards mirror card pad – Jewel Colours 
• Chloe’s Creative Cards matt mirror card pad – Jewel Colours

• White cardstock 
• Satin ribbon

• Green alcohol marker 
• Versafine inkpad – Black
• Wow! clear embossing inkpad 
• 8x8” white card blank 
• Pinflair 3D glue gel 
• Chloe’s Creative Cards chisel-tip glue pen 
• Art Glitter Dries-clear PVA glue with fine-tip applicator 
• Chloe’s Creative Cards 2mm and 3mm foam pads
• Heat tool
• Die-cutting machine 

INSTRUCTIONS:

1 Take die number 1 from the Fancy Squares die set and cut from an 8x8” card blank. Cut again from white cardstock and adhere together using Dries-clear PVA glue. 

2 Cut die 2 from matt mirror card and affix to the card using Dries-clear PVA glue. Cut die 3 from Vista pearl card, edge using a chisel-tip glue pen, and cover in Crystallina Sparkelicious glitter. Affix to the card using foam pads. Cut die 4 from foiled paper and add to the card using foam pads.

3 Die-cut Bubble Frame die 6 from glitter card and affix to the centre of the card using foam pads. Cut die 7 from Crystals White pearl card and affix again. 

4 Stamp out the following Country Flower images onto Lagoon pearl paper: four large, six medium, and four small. Heat-emboss using Opaque Bright White embossing powder. Die-cut all images using the coordinating dies. Add dots of glue to the flowers and cover in Zircon Sparkle Sparkelicious glitter. Shape the flowers by creating a valley fold in the centre and layer together using 3D glue gel. Add a crystal to the centre of each flower and arrange on the card, using 3D glue gel to secure. 

5 Stamp out the leaves from the stamp set onto Crystal White pearl card using a black Versafine inkpad and heat-emboss using Clear Gloss embossing powder. Colour in the leaves using an alcohol marker and apply Dries-Clear glue, then cover in Lime Zing Sparkelicious glitter. Arrange the leaves behind the flowers and secure into place using 3D glue gel. 

6 Die-cut the outer layer for the Filigree Happy Birthday sentiment from matt mirror card and the detailed happy birthday sentiment from Crystal White pearl card. Glue together using Dries-clear PVA glue and attach to the card using foam pads. 

7 Finally, tie a bow and affix to the card using 3D glue gel. Add a crystal to the centre.
